A character illustration inspired by the music of an old friend, who sadly I've lost touch with. Her song conjured up an idea of mid-70s pulp Sci-Fi by way of Heavy Metal, and the character took shape as a sort of space-port bar-hopping femme-fatale, imbibing far too many chemicals (liquid, gas, smoke-particulates...) and carousing/liaising with friends and potential victims of many species. The deathray is merely to remind people its all just fun... and games.
This was an experiment with a new way of painting, as well as trying to do as much as possible in ProCreate 4.
